layer_sprite_index() doesn't seem to be doing anything anymore. Project attached displays the issue very well.
The asset in question is a sprite which has 3 frames, a frown, a smile and a neutral face in that order. Creating an asset layer, then creating the asset and then changing the asset image index with the command in question just doesn't do anything, the image index of the asset does not get changed.
Simply run it and see that they all use frame 1 despite being set to frame 2.
